Your Voice Counts—— Screening & Workshop on Sexual Harassment for Indonesian Migrant Workers   Date and Time: November 15, 2026, from 13:00 to 17:00 Venue:半路咖啡 (Halfway Coffee) No. 9, Alley 51, Lane 269, Section 3, Luosifu Rd, Daxue Village, Da’an District, Taipei City, 106   Forum Language: Indonesian   Overview  This forum aims to explore migrant workers’ perceptions and knowledge of sexual violence, from pre-departure training to experiences in the workplace. It seeks to understand whether existing training and educational programs effectively equip migrant workers with the knowledge and confidence to identify, prevent, and report incidents of sexual violence and harassment. Furthermore, the forum seeks to deepen understanding of migrant workers’ knowledge of the different dimensions of sexual violence, including verbal, physical, non-physical, and digital forms, as well as the barriers that may prevent them from reporting incidents, such as a lack of vocabulary to describe abuse, fear of retaliation, and the cultural normalization of harassment and violence. The forum will feature a screening of the film ‘Angka Jadi Suara’, followed by a discussion and a talk with practitioners experienced in the field. Through the film screening and discussion, the forum aims to raise awareness and encourage migrant workers to recognize, speak up about, and safely report experiences of sexual violence and harassment.
